Even if what this person was saying didn’t make sense to Jaune, they at least seemed not to be lying about it. Or, at the very least, they seemed to believe this stuff. Always difficult to tell one from the other.
“I hope you realize exactly how insane you sound right now.”
And, of course, the banana of a team leader that JNPR was stuck with just felt the need to be painfully honest.
“Also, please don’t call me Jaune-y Boy.”

Okay, so maybe 3D wasn’t the sanest person, that could be agreed. But then again how could she be sane after the things she’d witnessed? The things she’d been through? Those things were enough to mentally scar a person to the point of being numb for the rest of their lives. However the brave princess soldiered on, forcing optimism and smiles.
