Someone was there.

The face, Sepian recognized; he had no name to put to it, but he’d seen her before. Golden hair like the sun, accompanying another team at the school. What was their team name? He couldn’t remember. It was hard to remember things. He knew there was an ice queen in her team. And a gemstone, a red gemstone. And a shadow.

No, that wasn’t quite right. They were people, not things.

“It’s me. Just me.”

Sepian put his hand against the wall, small hawk wings wrapping around his shoulders and bracing himself a bit. The voice he heard nearly bade him recoil, but it wasn’t an unfamiliar noise. The glitching. The cracking and scratching. Just like the creature’s Forrest’s Promo’s voice.

“I don’t want to hurt you,” he said, and rubbed his eyes. They itched a great deal; he just wanted to scratch so badly, but he needed his eyes. He didn’t want to be blind.

“I’m lost. I can’t find my brother. My other teammates are gone too. I just want to find them.”

◣ ☣ ◥ There’s a small pause, the entity’s eyes narrowing in confusion. She sniffed the air for a moment ;; the smell of blood was all she could sense. Entity blood. 3D moved forwards, her hands reaching out to run a pale finger across the boy’s cheek.

“ You’re infected. You’re going to turn soon. You’re lucky you’re still human ;; and that you’ve stumbled upon another entity. " Her hand fell to the boy’s chin, scarred lips placed gently against his cheek.

” It must hurt. I almost feel sorry for you, y'know. I wonder what kind of entity you’ll become ;; though I doubt it’ll be complex. “ Her breath was cold against his cheek, the stench of blood and gunpowder enough to sway the average human to vomit. Sadly, though, neither of them were normal humans. 3D’s arm snaked around the other’s waist.

” I’ll wait until you turn, alright ? It’s safer that way. “
