She did seem like the type of person to be a good parent, but he did not imagine her having a child that has not been taught to read or write. Reading and writing are foundations of learning afterall. "Pardon my intrusion Miss 3D, but you have not been taught to read or write? Do you learn simply by example and spoken word?"

3D’s hands settle on her hips, part of her tired from speaking so much in such a short amount of time. She continues thinking. She’s tried to write, to read, and everything’s just too difficult for her. Everything looks like a jumble of letters and sometimes it’s not even letters, it’s just things. Sometimes her mind takes over the words and make them say things in her head that she doesn’t want to hear. Those are the worst times.
